Certification

Students who have successfully completed the Transition Year Programme are awarded a certificate of participation by the Department of Education & Science.

Schools are encouraged to award a school certificate to their students on completion of their Transition Year Programme. These are often graded at Distinction Merit and Pass levels.

In addition some modular courses open to TY students carry certification for specific purposes, such as:
GAA coaching
European Computer Driving Licence
Tourism Awareness
An Gaisce
