Get Up and Go Minicompany Programme

Get Up and Go - Mini Company Awards 2010  

Registration is now open to schools intending to participate in the Get Up & Go programme for this school year.

1. Registration Fee is €10 per Minicompany made payable to Transition Year Minicompany

2. Application Process: Detach the page headed MINICOMPANY REGISTRATION FORM and send it with your registration fee to Transition Year, Blackrock Education Centre, Kill Ave, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.

3. Companies take part in a Regional Trade Exhibition judged in the following six categories:

                    Innovation, Marketing, Stand Presentation, Accounts, Quality, Sustainability.

4. A Certificate of Participation is issued by Transition Year Support.

What is Mini Company Get up and Go?

The Transition Year ‘Get up and Go’ programme is designed for use with Transition Year students, designed to develop skills and attitudes, which will enhance young people to become active participants in enterprise education. The minicompany programme acts as a bridge to help students make the transition from a highly structured environment to one where they will take greater responsibility for their own learning and decision-making.
